We’re over the moon to announce more fantastic authors and illustrators that will be joining us for Reading is Magic Festival from 27 September to 2 October. Jason Reynolds, Robin Stevens, Elle McNicoll, Anthony McGowan, Serena Patel, Sharna Jackson, Anna Wilson, Dara McAnulty and Jessica Love are joining the festival fun alongside the previously announced Cressida Cowell, Dapo Adeola, Nathan Bryon, Sue Hendra, Paul Linnet, Jasbinder Bilan, Kiran Millwood Hargrave, Sophy Henn, Steven Lenton, Steven Butler, Joseph Coelho, Pamela Butchart and Alex Wheatle. Wow… with all of these incredible brains onboard, it’s shaping up to be an amazing week!

Reading is Magic Festival is being created by a partnership of festival organisations that can together promote the value of reading and books on a national and international scale. Today, we’re thrilled to announce two new festival partners from either side of the Atlantic! Say a big hello to Brooklyn Book Festival and Henley Children's Literary Festival. They will join forces with Bath Children’s Literature Festival, Borders Book Festival, Boswell Book Festival, Bradford Literature Festival, North Cornwall Book Festival, Wigtown Book Festival, and Toronto International Festival of Authors to create the Reading is Magic Festival.
