Age guideline 4-7, 7-11

About the event

Join in with multi-award winning children’s author and poet Joseph Coelho as he teaches us how to perform some tongue twisters from Poems Aloud and challenges you to guess the riddles he reads!

As well as poems, Joseph LOVES libraries! He always has, ever since he was a child taking part in the excitement of the Summer Reading Challenge, seeking out the poetry section. Lots of his books and poems feature libraries, like his new Fairy Tales Gone Bad series. Joseph reads the spooky opening of Zombierella as a librarian discovers a shelf of fairy tales with some strange new titles...

And if that wasn’t enough, Joseph tells us about his challenge to join a library in all 209 library authorities in the UK. Imagine all those library cards!
