About the event

A fun-filled musical event with author-illustrator David Litchfield and his Merry Band of Bears. This book was the winner of the Waterstones Children’s Book prize in 2016, and David will tell the story  of the bear who found a piano in the woods and grew up to become a huge star!

David will tell the audience about Little Bear, who shows her father what really matters when his fame and fortune fades... While fame can be temporary, the best songs stay in your heart forever. After this very special storytime, the children will create a piece of fun animal themed artwork and listen to the wonderful live music that will accompany this event!
